We live in a world that is dynamic and evolving—one filled not only with challenges, but also with opportunities to shape a more just and sustainable tomorrow.Young people are not only witnesses to the issues of our time; you are key drivers of the solutions. Over 600 million youth live in areas affected by conflict and fragility. Your resilience, your creativity, and your commitment to change have never been more essential.
It is our firm belief that young people are key partners and drivers of sustainable peace in their respective localities, regions, and countries. Thus, this enormous potential of young people to build and sustain peace should be harnessed for society’s benefit.
Ghana Civil Society Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security is established to coordinate the efforts of CSOs to advance the youth, peace, and security agenda in Ghana.

Priorities
- 📊 Lead evidence-based advocacy for Ghana’s adoption, implementation and monitoring of a National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security.
- 🤝 Facilitate multi-stakeholder partnerships and resource mobilization to support youth-led YPS initiatives.
- 📚 Foster capacity strengthening, peer learning, and knowledge exchange among members and stakeholders.
- 📢 Support and amplify the voices of young peacebuilders in Ghana.
- 🌍 Contribute to regional and global Youth, Peace and Security efforts through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Membership
🔍 Who Can Join?
🧑🏾🤝🧑🏼 To qualify for membership, you must either be a youth-led or youth-focused organization active in peace building and conflict transformation; be able to participate in the coalition’s meetings, share membership feedback, and ensure alignment with our values and principles.
