SUMMARY:Save a slot: 4th Ghana Interfaith Solidarity March
DESCRIPTION:The 4th Ghana Interfaith Solidarity March\, organized by African Students For Interfaith Tolerance (ASFIT) in collaboration with Brave Aurora\, Interfaith March for Peace and Justice\, and the Northern Innovation Lab Foundation\, is set to take place on 13th May 2025\, coinciding with ASFIT’s 6th Anniversary. \nThis year’s event\, under the theme “Protecting the Religious Freedom of Everyone\,” will take the form of a public lecture and panel discussion rather than a street march\, due to prevailing security circumstances. Building on the success of the previous three marches\, which engaged over 250 participants\, this edition will bring together 50 participants\, including religious and traditional leaders from diverse faiths\nand ethnic backgrounds\, to stand together in unity against religious hatred and oppression. \nThe event will also advocate for freedom of worship or belief\, call for the cessation of violence\, and promote peace\, love\, and harmonious living.

DESCRIPTION:What is Ghana Peace Camp?\nThe Ghana Peace Camp is ASFIT’s annual flagship initiative. The camp brings together young people from diverse backgrounds\, communities\, and regions across Ghana for 3 days of learning\, networking and knowledge-sharing. The camp is designed to equip participants with vital skills in leadership\, conflict transformation\, negotiation\, and interpersonal communication; tools necessary for personal growth and meaningful contributions to peacebuilding efforts in their communities. \nParticipants will engage in activities that foster understanding and unity\, such as sharing meals\, life stories\, and perspectives. These experiences will enhance their socio-cultural connectivity and offer hands-on exploration of peacebuilding concepts\, reconciliation approaches\, and collective action initiatives aimed at fostering positive change.
